Starting Out as a Model in Singapore

While it can be pretty overwhelming and super exciting to go to your first photoshoot in Singapore, posing skills often depend on the model and the results from many years of experience and hard work. In fashion, it is about the secret of correct posing and how to create an image that will conquer everyone with the help of aesthetically correct poses. It may be a widespread belief that the model’s only job is to appear cute and look at the camera while taking pictures. In Singapore and many other cities, to be honest; this notion is far from the reality of the job. To be successful, the model has to possess an exceptional ability to pose and give the photographer “that one shot” out of hundreds of shots. Model poses are an art form that is learned and acquired through years of practicing.
Look at magazines to find some inspiration for your first photoshoot. What do you connect to? Look for poses and then test them out for yourself. See what works and what doesn’t, for the type of shoot you are doing in Singapore. Later, you can reference what you see during your first shoot and try the poses out.
